Sicily on film

In Sicily we say there are two types of Sicilians: those “di scoglio” (living on the reef) and those “di mare aperto” (living on open sea). I belong to this latter category as I left my beloved birthplace when I was 27. Still the raw beauty of its shores and mountains flows in my veins every time I come back home.
